Cold email

Cold email — recent hire trigger

When to use

Send within 14 days of a new VP/Head of X starting. Reply rate median 7.4% in our data (n=38 campaigns).

Subject: {{firstname}} — first 90 days

Hi {{firstname}},

Saw you just stepped in as {{title}} at {{company}}. First 90 days is usually where the outbound engine either gets rebuilt or gets ignored.

We run outbound for ~40 B2B teams in Europe. For companies like yours, month one usually clears 3-6% reply rate on a clean sector list — happy to share the exact playbook we'd use for {{company}}.

Worth a 15-min look?

Cold email

Cold email — funding round trigger

When to use

Send in the 3 weeks after a Series A/B announcement. Works best for tools priced €20k-€150k ACV.

Subject: post-{{round}} outbound at {{company}}

Hi {{firstname}},

Congrats on the {{round}} — most teams at your stage double the sales headcount before they figure out the outbound motion. Usually costs a year.

We run the sending, sequences and reply-handling for ~40 B2B teams in Europe. Meetings on the calendar in week 3, not month 4.

Worth a 15-min look at what would fit {{company}}?

Follow-up

Follow-up #2 — reframe the ask

When to use

Send 4 business days after touch 1 if no reply. Do not send if they opened but didn't click.

Hi {{firstname}},

Probably bad timing on my last note. One line: we run outbound for {{sector}} companies at {{company_size}} scale — reply rate median 4.6%, meeting-to-oppo 22%.

If outbound isn't a priority this quarter, no worries. If it is, worth a look?

Follow-up

Follow-up #4 — the break-up

When to use

The last touch in the sequence. Counter-intuitively, our highest single-touch reply rate (11.2%).

Hi {{firstname}},

Closing the loop — I'll stop here. If outbound comes back on the agenda later this year, my inbox is open.

One question before I go: is outbound not a priority, or did the pitch just not land? Either answer is useful.

LinkedIn connection note

When to use

Send after viewing profile + commenting on one post. Accept rate ~38% in our data on VP+ titles.

Hi {{firstname}}, saw your recent post on {{topic}} — we work with {{sector}} teams on outbound and the pattern you described (long cycles, low reply) is the exact thing we help fix. Happy to connect either way.
LinkedIn

LinkedIn — first message after accept

When to use

Wait 48 hours after connection accept. Do not pitch in this message.

Thanks for the connect, {{firstname}}. Not selling — genuinely curious: what's the biggest bottleneck in your outbound right now, list quality or reply rate? Feel free to ignore if now's not the time.
